The University of Florida Veterinary Medical Center (UFVMC) is an integral part of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, serving as a major animal referral center for the entire Southeast. The UFVMC includes both Small Animal Hospital and the Large Animal Hospital, each of which functions under the direction of a chief of staff and an associate chief of staff.

Horse Owner Equine Health Conference

The UFVMC will host a Horse Owner Equine Health Conference on Saturday, May 10, 2008. This event will feature speakers, demonstrations and tours. The event will be held at the UFVMC's Large Animal Hospital. There will be 15-30 minute practical topics for horse owners and limited registration of 75-80 people.
