Exotic Pathology

The Anatomic Pathology Service in the Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) provides laboratory medical services in the areas of necropsy pathology and surgical pathology of common domestic and companion animals. 

Necropsy and surgical pathology accessions are accepted from the Veterinary Medical Center as well as from outside referring veterinarians throughout the United States. Pathology faculty are board certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists. 

Additional specialty services are offered in dermatopathology, exotic animal pathology, and laboratory animal pathology. Outside necropsy and surgical pathology specimens can be submitted using our online interactive submission forms (see links to our services at left for forms, shipping directions, and fee schedules).
